Chief Scout Awards November 2019

We recently hosted the Chief Scout Awards at the Carlton Park Hotel where Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers all received the highest award they can get in their section. World Scout Jamboree 2019 Opening Ceremony

If you weren’t like me and stayed up you’ll have probably missed the world Scout Jamboree Opening Ceremony. Featuring an amazing Drone show and Live bands and even Bear Grylls Himself. How many Scouts to pull a boat?

On Saturday 4th May a group of scouts from the 35th Rotherham scout troop, took part in a sponsored boat pull on the Chesterfield canal. We pulled the Dawn Rose along a stretch of 3 miles, from Clarborough to Clayworth in Nottinghamshire.
