Below are a number of downloads that can be used to support you and your team in creating the risk assessments. They are to be used as a starting point and designed for you to add and amend as necessary.
Make sure that however you choose to document your risk assessment it is clear to anyone who reviews it or uses it.

Remember:

  • A risk assessment is only effective if you and leadership team act on it. You must follow through with any actions required and review it on a regular basis.

  • Don’t just copy the examples, your circumstances are unique and so you need to do a risk assessment appropriate to your setting, making sure you are clear on the hazards and controls.

  • Even if the hazards you see are the same as in the examples, the controls may differ, so make sure you are being clear on what you will be doing in your location to control the risks and then follow through on these controls.

The example risk assessments below will be regularly updated each quarter by the District Team. If you have any questions about any of the resources, or any additions just get in touch.
